So I'm looking to be the talk of the cosplay convention this year. I decide on styling myself after Attack On Titan. It's a unique series in itself plus its even harder to pull it off. It take time, energy, and most importantly skills to even be apart of the discussion. I went to shop for a few supplies and ended up with a basket full of materials. I wanted to center it around being a survivalist just like the show. I wanted it to be slightly exotic and make you question reality in itself. But I had less than a week to do so! I was under a lot of pressure to get it done in a timely manner but also with respect to its quality. Through out the entire week, I worked with energy and vigor to complete this task. By the week's end, it was time for the cosplay convention.
The Big Day
I arrived decked out in what seemed to be the finest costume at cosplay. Everyone was so stunned by the quality of work I put into it. I went into competition later that day. When the time came, I walked on to the stage as if I owned it. The judges were amazed and the crowd was stunned. I never felt so sure in my life that I would become the winner. I went up against some very stiff competition. There were different cosplay costumes for different shows and literature. Yet still I felt I had the best quality among the contestants. When the finals scores came out, I was declared the winner. It was one of the best moments in my life! I won the grand prize and was later interviewed by the local television station. I have never felt so proud of myself and the work I put into it. Next year will be even better!
